A women's football team, a group of adults who come together to train and, above all, to connect. What struck me most was how they show up for each other, laughing during the warm-up and hanging around long after practice. For me this series is about what sport creates: a place where you belong. I wanted to catch the energy of the game and the quiet belonging in between.
