MEXICO DIARY

This series was made during a trip through the Yucatán. I didn’t set out with a concept, I just wanted to slow down, observe, and enjoy. I wandered through local markets, communicated with gestures and smiles (since I don’t speak Spanish), and often found myself trying to explain that I don’t eat meat, but that I really did want to try everything else.

The images reflect that experience: curious, and grounded in everyday encounters. It’s a quiet document of presence, of learning, tasting, watching, and of feeling completely at ease being somewhere new.
