In 2018, Wijstudio started working on the AVA (Ambassadors of Amsterdam) project. Wijstudio developed a brand identity, website, and strategy for AVA and onboarded us to develop the visual launch campaign.
AVA, Ambassadors of Amsterdam, is a project that connects the youth of Amsterdam to their city through volunteer work and community building. All the ambassadors have unique skills and use them to make their neighbourhoods a better, more connected place. Our challenge was to attract more people to this program through compelling and motivating visual content.
I portrayed the Ambassadors as leaders of change and used camera angles and film techniques to build a powerful narrative. Instead of a long video, I used strong portraits to tell the story of how you can lead the way to a more connected Amsterdam to gain attention from more potential Ambassadors.
