I have always been fascinated by basketball. The speed of the game. The intensity on the field. The amazing energy found in the clothing, courts and people. Although I sadly didn’t get into the sport when I was younger, I found myself wanting to be a part of this dynamic culture in another way.
This manifested itself in this shoot. It’s a sort of love letter to female basketball. Something I would have loved to be a part of and now feel a bit too old to start. Although this shoot has made my hand hands itch even more to start. Who knows. I might. Just do it, right?
